Our hearts are full after celebrating our Carter Work Project Block Party at Whisper Valley, where so many wonderful members of the community gathered to commemorate the homes that are nearly complete and getting ready to welcome hardworking Central Texans.
Events like this are a powerful reminder that it takes the strength of an entire community to make something as impactful as the Carter Work Project possible. From the first day of construction to this moment of celebration, every hand, every partnership, and every act of support played a role in bringing these homes to life.
For decades, President Jimmy Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter demonstrated what it means to lead with service, working alongside volunteers and inspiring generations to believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.
