“State Board of Education member Brandon Hall wants Muslim Student Associations barred from Texas public universities, and his claims about them are baseless.

Here’s what he left out:
✅ MSAs have served college students since 1963
✅ The Supreme Court has ruled that public colleges can’t deny recognition to student groups over officials’ disagreement with their views
✅ The SBOE oversees K-12 education. It has zero authority over universities

Even the outlet that interviewed him couldn’t verify his claims.

Officials who speak for Texans should reflect all Texans.
