I'm sad to report we had a fatality at our cub scout camp. We'll miss Jerry. Jerry was wonderful. But Jerry was a fishing lure... at a cub scout camp... by a lake... so, yeah, his fate was inevitable.

Our Webelos had their first den campout last weekend at Buescher State Park. They set up their own tents, cooked the meals, cleaned up, went on a bike ride for the Pedal Away pin, and spent a little time fishing. They did great! The food was actually pretty good. And as a bonus we had clear skies Saturday night so got to see some of the Geminids meteor shower.
