Freed Lives is on a mission to help parents and children find each other, no matter the distance or circumstance. Our platform tackles this challenge by creating searchable online profiles for missing children and their parents. Through automated email alerts, we notify families of potential matches, ensuring no lead is overlooked. By offering this simple yet powerful tool, we empower families to reconnect and rebuild their lives together.

Introducing Andy Baker — a dedicated leader, husband, dad of four, and someone who’s spent his life standing up for marginalized communities. 🌍

Andy and his wife Andrea co-founded Project Suma, working to fight human trafficking in Bolivia. For over 25 years, they’ve called El Alto, just outside La Paz, home — building deep connections and making a real difference.

He now serves as a Director with Atlas Free, supporting over 100 anti-trafficking organizations in 45 countries and more than 20 languages. 🌐

Andy brings heart, humility, and decades of experience to everything he does — and we’re so lucky to have him on our board! 🙌

Introducing Dr. Angela Straface — Christ-follower ✝️, loving mom ❤️, and board-certified emergency physician with 27+ years of experience.

Her time in emergency medicine exposed her to the harsh realities of human trafficking, inspiring a faith-driven mission to protect the vulnerable — something she sees as a God-given responsibility. 🙏

She founded Feel Ideal 360, a functional and anti-aging clinic where science meets holistic care to help patients thrive.

A proud mom to two adopted daughters, Dr. Straface brings compassion, strength, and purpose to everything she does — healing both body and soul.

MEET THE BOARD! 👋

Say hello to Jimmy Gross — Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Desta Therapy and Desta Provisions!

With over 20 years of leadership in senior care, public health, and behavioral health, Jimmy, along with his wife, Rachel, and their four children, has dedicated his life to serving vulnerable communities. 🌍

He spent over a decade working in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Amman, Jordan, where he helped reunite victims of human trafficking with their families and supported Syrian refugees. 🕊️ His life’s work reflects a deep commitment to compassion, justice, and lasting impact.

When Jimmy isn’t hard at work at Desta, you can probably find him checking out his favorite Arab and Ethiopian markets in San Antonio, cooking up various cuisines he’s learned to make from his travels, tending to the family chickens, gardening, and spending time with Rachel and his kids.

We’re lucky to have his wisdom and vision on our board! 🙌
