Our team at Fundamentals for Foster Care was lucky enough to be chosen as one of 13 nonprofits for their global volunteer day, and honest to goodness, the Amazon/Whole Foods Market team completely blew us away. They didn't just show up to check a box. They brought serious skills, an insane amount of momentum, and all the exact tools we needed to push our mission forward and then some. Seeing people jump right in and use their professional talents to help us increase the graduation rates for those affected by foster care was moving! It is easy to talk about community partnership, but the Amazon.com Austin HQ team actually lived it today. They truly left our organization better than they found it. To every single Amazonian who rolled up their sleeves for us today: thank you. Shout out to Taproot for connecting us to skilled volunteers too. You have no idea how much your hard work and generosity mean to us and the young people we serve! The results will show!

I’m thrilled to share some incredible news for Fundamentals for Foster Care! Proceeds from the "No Address" movement went to 5 nonprofits making a difference for the homeless and we were honored to be chosen as one of the big 5!

This project is truly special. While the documentary, "Americans With No Address," captures the raw reality of the crisis, the companion feature film stars incredible talent like William Baldwin, who portrays the human side of losing everything with such depth. Having voices like his behind this movement helps us reach hearts and minds across the country.

Foster youth face a significant risk of homelessness when aging out of the system, and for the rest of their lives, and this documentary, Americans With No Address, shines a vital light on the human stories behind the crisis. Thanks to the generous support and recent funding from Robert Craig Films, we are further empowered to provide the housing our former foster youth deserve.

Let’s celebrate our graduates in Austin! 🎓✨
I’m going to bat for 60 incredible high school seniors in the Austin area (Region 7) who have a history in foster care. Graduation is such a huge milestone, but for these students, it often comes without the traditional safety net or family celebration.
We have a gap to fill, and I need your help to make sure every one of these 60 graduates feels seen and supported as they step into their next chapter.
How you can help:
We are collecting gift cards to provide these seniors with the essentials they need for their transition—whether that’s dorm supplies, professional clothes for interviews, or groceries.
The Goal: 60 Graduates. 60 Gift Cards. One big community push.
