We're thrilled to announce an epic new partnership between Marathon Kids and a global leader in mind-blowing endurance events!

Over the past year, Brooks’ support has helped fuel the growth of Marathon Kids as we reached more than 518,000 young runners nationwide, our largest impact yet. Together, we’re empowering schools, families, and communities to build healthy habits, inspire confidence, and create lifelong connections to physical activity.

As we work toward our goal of 1 million kids moving by 2028, partnerships like Brooks make it possible to expand access, remove barriers, and ensure more children experience the joy and benefits of movement.

A huge THANK YOU to for helping our Girls Movement runners stay active, confident, and protected from the sun while they move. Their innovative open-back hats are perfect for athletes with ponytails, making every run a little more comfortable and a lot more fun.

Huge shoutout to Alicia Newton, PE teacher at a rural school near Fayetteville, NC, for leading an incredible fundraising effort in support of Marathon Kids’ Run It Forward campaign! 👏🏽🍿🏃🏽‍♀️

Alicia’s Marathon Kids club recently organized a popcorn fundraiser and raised more than $1,000 to help more kids get moving nationwide.

This is the power of a passionate coach and an engaged school community. 💙

In Alicia’s words:

“Marathon Kids has inspired and encouraged our students to become more active, confident, and motivated while creating opportunities that many of our students may not have experienced otherwise.”

She also shared that students were voluntarily running laps before state testing to calm nerves and improve focus. That’s the kind of lifelong impact movement can create.

For 30 years, Marathon Kids has worked to build confidence, healthy habits, and joy through movement as the nation’s largest youth running nonprofit, and stories like this remind us why the mission matters so much.

At DICK’S House of Sport in Dayton, Ohio, 40 girls and Coach Dr. Devine from River’s Edge Montessori came together for a powerful Girls Movement experience. The morning was filled with movement, laughter, and connection as the girls built confidence and celebrated what they could achieve through running.

Thanks to the incredible support from DICK’S Sporting Goods and Brooks Running, participants also received fun swag and running shoes from the Empower Her Collection that made the day even more special.

Moments like these bring the Girls Movement to life, creating spaces where girls feel encouraged, included, and proud to move together.

450,000 kids are running with Marathon Kids today.
Now, we need you to lead the way for them.

For 30+ years, we’ve turned movement into confidence, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits, at no cost to the communities we serve. But rising costs are putting that mission at risk.

Our goal: $50,000 by May 31
The first lap toward protecting free access for every child.

🧮 The math is simple:
If our supporters collectively gave just $1 for every child currently in our program each year, we could fund the future of Marathon Kids.

Every dollar makes an impact:
$5 = supports 1 child
$25 = funds 5 runners
$100 = supports a classroom
$500 = supports a grade
$2,500 = supports a school
