Austin Enhancement Group AEG is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that plans and organizes community events in Austin, Minnesota.

The Austin Enhancement Group, Inc. is excited to announce a series of three free community events happening in the summer of 2025!

The music series, called High Water, will take place at Bandshell Park on Thursday night June 19th, July 17th and Aug 21st, and will feature a band, food trucks, games/activities, and an outdoor movie!

The details are still being firmed up but the events are scheduled to begin at 5:30pm with food trucks in the park along with games and activities provided by Park & Rec. A band will take the Bandshell stage from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Following the band a movie will be shown on a big screen setup on the Bandshell stage. (Movie start times will be announced as the date gets closer as adequate darkness conditions must be achieved.)

This is a trial program in the hopes that the Austin community will come out and enjoy the evening.

The name “High Water” is inspired by the signs posted around Austin that indicate the record high water levels Austin has experienced. Even through the high water, Bandshell Park and its structures remain as a symbol of our resilience and our ability to come together for good.

The volunteers of the Austin Enhancement Group are looking forward to the residents of Austin coming together to enjoy this beautiful park for some hometown, community fun!
