Tonight Scoutmaster Davis had 2 more Eagles added to his list.
This Troop began 25 years ago with this Scouter and his friends, who wanted to bring fun adventures into the lives of their boys. All these years later and he is continuing to guide Scouts through the path that leads to the Eagle Nest.
🦅 Congratulations Eagle Scouts Jude & Solomon 🦅

Today Scout Vir finished his Eagle project for the Hindu worship temple. He was tasked with repairing 2 picnic tables for a youth area. Nailing, sanding, more sanding, and sealing it with a clear coat took up almost no time at all. The Temple asked Vir to finish the area, by helping them fill in cracks with an epoxy sanding cement.
All done Vir has completed excellent leadership & all the Scouts know several basics for home ownership chores in the future. Great job Vir!

Today some of our Scouts traveled to tour our Texas State Capitol building. They met several Eagle Scouts, learned more about Texas history & buildings, and why you don’t let someone from Michigan design the Senate roof.
They displayed every bit of what being a Scout means, and we can’t wait to see who of them has a future in government now. That being said, most just want to sit at the cool desk & fancy chairs.
