We’re looking for Youth Tutor Volunteers to support El Buen’s After School Academic Support Program this Fall 2026 semester!

Volunteer tutors will work with students to provide academic support and encouragement throughout the semester. Both virtual and in-person opportunities are available Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 7pm.

Volunteers must commit to one full hour, one day per week, for the entire Fall semester.
Give one hour a week and help our students stay on track, strengthen their skills, and build confidence in the classroom.

Desde volver a ver a sus amigos hasta comenzar a aprender nuevamente, estamos muy emocionados por otro semestre apoyando a nuestros estudiantes mientras desarrollan sus habilidades, confianza y gusto por aprender.

We are still filled with joy and gratitude after celebrating more than 55 Community Health Worker graduates, including our first ever High School cohort of graduates! This milestone was made possible by an incredible community of people and organizations who believe in creating pathways to opportunity and strengthening the community health workforce across Central Texas.

Acompáñenos a la Feria de Recursos Comunitarios Vecinos Ayudando a Vecinos del vecindario de Dove Springs el sábado 29 de agosto, de 10am a 1pm, en Mendez Middle School, 5106 Village Square Dr., Austin, TX 78744.

El Programa de Navegadores para la Prevención del Desplazamiento sirve a residentes que califican en Colony Park (78724), Dove Springs (78744), Montopolis (78741 y direcciones que califican ubicadas a una milla o menos de las áreas de desarrollo de transporte de Project Connect.

Hable directamente con los navegadores comunitarios de El Buen y con organizaciones de confianza para conocer recursos de vivienda, apoyo continuo de un coordinador de servicios, asistencia para renta y servicios públicos, prevención de desalojos, alimentos, salud, educación, empleo, beneficios y otros recursos de la comunidad.

Join us for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Dove Springs Neighborhood Community Resource Fair on Saturday, August 29, from 10am to 1pm at Mendez Middle School, 5106 Village Square Dr., Austin, TX 78744.

The Displacement Prevention Navigator Program serves eligible residents in Colony Park (78724), Dove Springs (78744), Montopolis (78741), and eligible addresses located within one mile of Project Connect transit development.

Meet one-on-one with El Buen community navigators and trusted community partners to learn about housing and resource navigation, case management support, rental and utility assistance, eviction prevention, food access, health, education, workforce services, benefits, and other community resources.

The event will also include food distribution, children’s activities, music, and resources for the whole family. Food will be available while supplies last.

El Buen is looking for volunteers to support adult and youth learners in our Education programs during the Fall semester.

💻ESL Instructors
Volunteers must commit to teaching one class per week for the full semester and may choose a morning or evening schedule.

Fall Semester: September 1 – December 10, 2026
Classes are held virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Morning and evening opportunities available.

✏️Youth After School Academic Support - Tutors
Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one hour per week for the full semester.

Fall Semester: August 31 – December 3, 2026
Virtual and in-person opportunities available Monday -Thursdays from 4pm - 7pm
