The Speak Piece Poetry Project is a collective of artists committed to the transformative advancement of middle and high school students in arts and education by teaching Austin's youth to be better readers, writers and thinkers. ak Piece cultivates student literacy and community leadership. Students who participate in the program have graduated to become critically thoughtful, socially active, and culturally-literate artists.
