Bridges Academy Austin

Bridges Academy Austin is a private K-8 school in Austin, Texas specializing in helping students with dyslexia, learning disabilities, dual exceptionalities, and other learning differences. The school will be opening in 2020-21 in Steiner Ranch. The school offers very small classes (1:10) with individualized instruction at the student's level in each subject. Students may be above grade level in some subjects and behind in other subjects. The curriculum and courses will be tailored to each student's needs, so that students can be accelerated in their areas of strength and remediated in their areas of need. The school is founded by a certified teacher, special education teacher, and dyslexia specialist who also has experience teaching gifted and talented education.
