Moja Tu is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide educational sponsorships to students in developing countries to end the cycle of poverty.

Moja Tu, a 501(c)(3) was started in January 2013 by Kathy Kempff and Christine Kempff. During a philanthropic trip to Africa in August 2012 where they volunteered at an orphanage in Kenya, they discovered a growing need to provide education to children. Moja Tu provides educational sponsorships to students with financial need with the goal of ending the cycle of poverty.

Every success story starts with someone who said, "𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮."

At Moja Tu, that belief turns into education, opportunity, and a brighter future.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are changing lives, one student at a time.

How much difference can $85 a month make for a high school student?

It can provide access to education, school supplies, mentorship, and the support students need to stay focused on their future.

A single sponsorship can open the door to opportunity and help a student build a brighter future.

Are you ready to make a difference? Sponsor a student today and join them on their journey from education to opportunity.

This month, we’re celebrating Esther Kitheka, our Director of Finance and Program Manager and a proud Moja Tu alumna! 🎉

Esther is more than a mentor to our university students; she walks alongside them, offering guidance, encouragement, and support every step of the way.

Through the Finance Club she recently started, she’s also helping students build the skills and confidence to manage their finances and plan for the future.

Thank you, Esther, for the care and commitment you bring to our students every day! 💛
