Junior Police Academy The Junior Police Academy provides educational resources to police officers across the country who work with young people.

Junior Police Academy of America provides educational programming and training opportunities to law enforcement organizations and middle schools to help police officers more effectively reach out to the youth in their community. Since 1992, our programming has been putting a human face to policing and helped build a bond of trust with young people.

“Junior Police Academy bridges the tremendous g

A police dog from the RAID French national police unit specializing in the search for explosives inspects a Boston Dynamics robot dog in the CMA CGM Tangram innovation center in Marseille, France, on May 8, 2024.

After a few tense moments, the police dog seemed to relax, realizing that the robot posed no threat. It wagged its tail and nudged the robot playfully, as if inviting it to join in the inspection. The robot, programmed to mimic animal behavior, responded by wagging its mechanical tail in a synchronized motion.

Using a robotic police dog can offer various benefits, some of which include:

Tough Robot Dogs:
Robotic police dogs are super strong and tough. They're made from materials that can handle tough situations without breaking. That means they can keep working no matter what!

Always On Duty:
These robots never need a break. They can work all the time, helping police keep an eye on things and staying alert when humans might need a rest.

What do we lose if we replace all please dogs with robots? Discuss with your departments K9 Unit.
