Who:
Travis Goyeneche

He is constantly exploring new research about the capabilities of the human body with regard to movement, development, recovery and performance. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages and abilities and believes that building a strong rapport is vital to the success of any team, which is why trust and communication are emphasized along with form and technique in all aspects of his training. Since 2014 Travis has designed and implemented offseason and in-season programs for multiple professional track athletes from both USA and Nigeria, including Mike Rodgers, Silver medalist in the 60m, and Nigerian National Champion in the 400m hurdles, Miles Ukaoma.
Kevin Benford
Coach Kevin Benford has been coaching track and field for four years with Central Texas Elite Track Club. After having started with the team and running and jumping at the amateur level in 2012-2013, Kevin found a true passion for the art of sprinting and began studying the sprints and horizontal jumps. Though he still enjoys competing in local events, Kevin’s true passion is helping young athletes develop in sports from track and field to football.
Coach Kevin earned his personal fitness trainer certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2013 and his USATF Level 1 Track and Field Coach Certification in 2016. He had worked in the fitness and sports performance since 2013 and continues his education as a junior in college studying Exercise Science. Kevin’s two pronged philosophy guides his approach to all of his athlete’s training. Foremost, to build up an athlete the coach must build up the person; instilling character traits of honesty, leadership, and work ethic in all aspects of life. Secondly, the athlete’s training must be viewed as one body consisting of many different but equally important members; strength, speed, mobility, nutrition, and recovery. With each member being addressed, the athlete presents the greatest chance of success in their athletic endeavors
