When Kylee first came to PCHAS at age 11, she could not have imagined where her journey would lead. Through the support of caring mentors, determination, and faith, she overcame challenges, earned her diploma, completed college, and is now a third-grade teacher and proud mother.

Kylee’s story is a reminder that when children are given stability, encouragement, and hope, they can grow where they are planted. πŸŒ±πŸ’™

Experiences from the past can continue to impact daily life long after the moment has passed. During PTSD Awareness Month, we recognize the strength of those navigating trauma and the importance of access to support and care.

Through Counseling Centers - PCHAS children, adults, and families can receive compassionate counseling services that help foster healing, resilience, and hope for the future. πŸ’™ Healing is a journey, and no one should have to walk it alone.

We’re grateful to Emeritus Trustee Keith Whittemore for finding a creative way to support Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services while enjoying a hobby he loves. πŸͺ΅β€οΈ

Keith partnered with woodworking educator and content creator Marc Spagnuolo, known as The Wood Whisperer to create handcrafted hardwood spatulas made from walnut, cherry, and maple. Through this partnership, 10% of all spatula sales will support children, young adults, and families served by PCHAS.

What started as a woodworking project has become a meaningful way to create hope for others. ✨ Thank you, Keith, for your continued commitment to PCHAS and for helping hope outshine hardship. 🀍

Happy National Dinosaur Day ! πŸ¦•πŸ’š At PCHAS, we know every child has unique strengths and interests worth nurturing. One of the ways we help children grow, heal, and reach their goals is through education.

Through our General and Advanced Education programs, dedicated staff and tutors provide mentoring, tutoring, and encouragement to help children build confidence and succeed both in and out of the classroom. πŸ“šβœ¨
