We believe in the absolute value of all living beings and in fostering strong relationships between people and their pets.

DEMI’S DREAM uses humane, positive-reinforcement dog training techniques to help build bonds and transform the lives of people and their dogs who are experiencing homelessness or who are in transitional housing. Mission Statement

We aim to use training to help individuals build self-confidence, develop marketable skills, and create a safer environment for the dogs and the community at large. Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to strengthen relationships and build self-confidence in dog owners and their dogs through dog training, thereby improving their likelihood of staying together.

Join **Demi’s Dream** at Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center on **Friday, August 28, from 10 AM–12 PM!**

Volunteers help us:
🐶 Register clients for 15-minute dog training sessions
🦴 Fit dogs with collars, leashes & equipment
🥫 Distribute dog food & supplies
📸 Take photos of our amazing people and pups
❤️ Most importantly—connect with our clients and make everyone feel welcome!

**No dog-training experience needed—just a willingness to help and a love for people and pups!**

Bear's mom recently commented on our Instagram post about the work we're doing at Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center. It is all the proof we need that we're doing the right thing!

Preacher TOTALLY rocked his Come When Called training today…and pretty much stole everyone’s hearts in the process! 🐶❤️ Way to go, Preacher!

We also want to give a very special THANK YOU to Myra and her mom, Kimberly! 💕 We are so fortunate that Myra chose Demi’s Dream for her Girl Scout Silver Award project.

Myra didn’t just come out to help us outfit our clients’ dogs with much-needed equipment—she also arrived with drawings and plans for agility equipment she is going to build for us! 🐕‍🦺👏 Her project will help us expand our training opportunities and give our dogs and their people even more ways to learn, grow, build confidence, and HAVE FUN together!

This is what Demi’s Dream is all about: people helping people, people helping dogs, and dogs bringing all of us together. ❤️🐾

At the end of the day, we had a whole lot of happy people, happy pups, wagging tails, and big smiles!

Days like this remind us just how much can happen when a community comes together. 💙

Today was filled with wagging tails, eager learners, and so many proud dog parents. Every 15-minute training session helped strengthen the bond between people and their dogs, and the joy on everyone's faces made it all worthwhile.

The smiles say it ALL! 😊🐶 Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, and cheered each other on. We can't wait to do it all again next week!
