On Friday, May 17th, SACT International proudly presented three prestigious awards to remarkable individuals who have significantly contributed to our mission of eradicating and preventing child trafficking and exploitation through education and empowerment. These trailblazers have not only supported SACT but have also paved the way for a safer future.
๐ The Student Freedom Fighter Award: 2024 Senior, Madison Phillip, a true champion, has been with us from the start. As the leader of the SACT Ambassador Program at First Coast High School, she has trained 60 students, setting a powerful example of action and change.
๐ The Teacher of Action Award: Mr. Richard Black, who originally inspired our now Executive Director Madison Edwards to take the SACT High School Training her Junior year, receives this honor for his dedication to protecting and empowering his students. His influence has been instrumental in the success of our Ambassador Program. While the SACT Ambassador program is not ran by teachers, it is teachers of action like Mr. Black that can become the influence and mentor that a student needs.
๐ The Catalyst for Change Award: Mr. Padraic Mulvihill has been a steadfast supporter since our inception. His visionary approach and unwavering commitment to "Not One More Victim" embody the essence of a true catalyst for change.
