Graduation Post 🎓

Our IRACS program recently celebrated another graduation! The Grief Recovery Method® is an intensive 8-week group led by a certified Grief Recovery Specialist. Grief isn’t limited to the loss of a loved one — it can stem from the loss or change of anything that has been a meaningful part of your life.

We begin by teaching what grief truly is and emphasizing that it is an individual process, unique to every person. Throughout the program, participants take a deep dive into the losses they’ve experienced. Each person chooses one significant relationship to focus on and works toward completing the emotional work connected to that loss.

This journey requires tremendous courage, willingness, and honesty.

We’re proud to share the women that completed the program. Even more inspiring, one participant chose to continue her work after being released from incarceration and successfully finished the process. This is a powerful example of our re-entry support in action — we remain connected after release and continue providing guidance and encouragement.

Pictured below are the graduates

We are incredibly proud of these women and excited for them as they move forward knowing that, no matter what has happened in their lives, healing is possible and happiness is within reach.

A special thank you to the Scott County Indiana Sheriff's Office for their continued partnership, dedication, and compassion toward the individuals we serve. We also extend our gratitude to Mental Health America of Indiana for their ongoing support of our mission.
