Austin Texas Parrot Head Club Where the Heart of Margaritaville Lives On! We are a local 501(c) non-profit club (charter of PHiP, Our members come from a variety of backgrounds.

The purpose of the Austin Texas Parrot Head Club is to provide charitable and educational activities that promote the general welfare of Austin and the Hill Country in Central Texas. Our club is a local charter of the Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., a Not-For-Profit Corporation, whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people

who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies. Most of us are professionals ranging in age between the mid-20′s and mid-50′s (with a few parakeets thrown in for good measure). Through our love for Jimmy Buffett’s music, we have found that we have many other interests in common also – primarily the desire to give something back to the Austin and Central Texas community. Trop Rock Tuesday Artist Feature: The Wheeland Brothers! These California guys play music with a signature blend of surf rock, reggae, hip hop and acoustic pop. You can hear them on Sirius XM’s Radio Margaritaville where their single “Song To The Sun” was the most played song of the summer 2022. The band has performed with peers ranging from 311 and Slightly Stoopid to Donavon Frankenreiter and Michael Franti. They’ve also performed at Meeting Of The Minds, Tortuga Music Festival, Kaaboo Del Mar, and were personally picked by Kenny Chesney to play the Nashville kick off to his 2022 summer tour.
