I so appreciated this speech on the floor of the Texas House.

Veterans in distress deserve so much more than psychiatrists and their dangerous drugs.

Imagine actually paying doctors to safely wean people off of psychiatric drugs!?!?!?! There is growing recognition of the difficulties of withdrawing from psychiatric drugs.

For years, nobody would call it withdrawal. Instead they called it “discontinuation syndrome.”

Finally people are starting to call it what it is.

One of the largest for-profit psychiatric hospitals in Texas (and the US) is set to lose federal insurance coverage.

This hospital has been on our Director's radar for years.

Texas Public Radio found reports including deaths, assaults, riots, drugs and staff injuries.

Texas needs faster and more forceful investigations of dangerous and abusive psychiatric hospitals!

Three patients died and others were injured as inspectors cite the San Antonio psychiatric facility for ongoing problems.

The first restraint death I ever investigated was at Laurel Ridge. It wasn’t the last. It doesn’t seem like things have gotten any better over the years.

Passing legislation is just the beginning. Seeing it through the implementation process is often where the hard work begins.

The syllabus for a new parental rights training received final adoption during last week's State Board of Education meeting.

So proud of the parents and parent groups who worked so hard in 2025 to pass Texas’ strong parental rights in education bills. Even more proud of those who have continued to Shepard these changes through implementation.

Hello Friends,
I was interviewed about my work with CCHR on the Betrayal Project! We covered the history of fraud and abuse in psychiatry and psychiatric hospitals in Texas and beyond. I was asked in depth questions about what our office has seen, what we are still seeing and what we are doing about it. People being held against their will and being subjected to "treatment" without their consent is not new. Here is the story you need to know.

In Episode 6 of A Nation Betrayed – Unmasking the Hidden Agenda, host Teresa Cichewicz sits down with Monica Ayres of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) for a sobering and eye-opening conversation about the hidden forces shaping mental health policies and practices in America. In the Netherlands, for example, only two psychiatric patients were killed legally in 2010. By 2011, this had increased to 13 patients, and by 2012 to 14. By 2020, there were 88 euthanasia cases involving mental illness. That figure rose to 138 in 2023 and to 219 by 2024

Assisted su***de is no longer limited to terminal illness, with psychiatric patients now deemed capable of giving “informed consent” to die—even as the same system treats them as too insane to live.
