We're highlighting one of the many groups who come out to serve in more ways than one!
The Moreland Properties team recently joined us for a Tuesday night packing party, jumping right in to help pack meals for the week ahead. It was a joy to have them serve alongside us! The room was full of energy, teamwork, and a shared commitment to caring for our local students.
But their support doesn’t stop there. The partnership has extended beyond one evening of service, helping spread the word about our mission throughout the community, helping more people learn about the work happening in local schools each week.
A special thank you to Cord Shiflet and his family for arranging the evening and for their continued involvement. They consistently look for ways to support our needs, even helping us secure things we might not typically ask for (like keeping us stocked on peanut butter or providing new carts that make delivery days run so much smoother!).
Our serve day partnerships remind us that collaboration goes far beyond a single serve day. It’s about a community that shows up for one another!
