✨ Black Fund Committee Choice Cohort Spotlight
| Led by Kimberly Holliday

The PFaith House is a transformative haven in Pflugerville, serving single-mother households, women, and female veterans navigating homelessness and trauma.

Founded by Councilwoman Kimberly Holiday, a social psychologist, restorative justice practitioner, and fierce community advocate, this organization stands on the principles of PFaith, PFreedom, and PForgiveness. Kimberly’s leadership has created a nurturing space where women move from crisis toward healing, stability, and renewed purpose.

We are proud to support The PFaith House through capacity-building work in partnership with The Black Fund, strengthening the systems that allow their impact to grow sustainably.

Care is powerful. But care without structure burns out.

At Little Bit of Good, we believe real transformation happens when compassion meets capacity, when leadership is resourced, and when systems are strengthened to last.

We do not just believe in impact.
We build for it.

Equity is not a headline. It is a set of decisions.

It shows up in how we fund, who we center, what we measure, and how long we commit to the work.

At Little Bit of Good, we believe equity is operational, not optional.

Giving is powerful. But intentional giving is transformative.

Supporting Black-led organizations is essential. And when you give beyond that, ask deeper questions.

Who is leading?
Who is represented on the board?
Who is actually being served?

Big names do not always mean broad impact. Data tells a clearer story than branding ever will.

Equity in philanthropy is not just about generosity. It is about discernment.

✨ Give where representation, accountability, and community insight are real.

Power shifts when strategy is shared.

Equity is not just about who is at the table. It is about who has access to the tools, the clarity, and the structure to lead well.

At Little Bit of Good, we equip Black-led and historically under-resourced nonprofits with strategy that strengthens systems and sustains impact. Because when knowledge is shared, leadership expands.

πŸ€– AI is not the future. It is already here. The question is whether boards are ready.

When leadership ignores AI, they risk falling behind. When they adopt it without strategy, they risk misalignment. The real opportunity sits in the middle.

AI can strengthen fundraising, governance, and equity efforts when it is grounded in values and guided by human leadership.

Flashback to this powerful Board Shake-Up conversation on what AI in 2025 truly means for nonprofit boards.

For over 15 years, China Smith has used dance as a tool for access, empowerment, and cultural expression, ensuring that children who face financial, physical, language, or cultural barriers can still experience the transformative power of movement.

Through Ballet Afrique Contemporary Dance, the Umoja Youth Company, and the Ballet Afrique Dance Academy, this collective of artists blends ballet, modern, and Afrocentric influences to educate, inspire, and nourish both spirit and skill.

Black giving has always been rooted in necessity, lived experience, and love for community.

When systems overlook us, we build our own. When resources fall short, we rally around one another. Black-led organizations exist because someone saw a need and refused to let it go unmet.

Executive Director Monique Parker reminds us that our philanthropy is not accidental. It is intentional. It is protective. It is powerful.

We give because we understand the work. We give because we have lived the gaps. We give because our communities deserve more than survival.
