ArtUs Co invites artists to submit work for our fourth annual Realms of Fungi, a group exhibition exploring the mysterious, intelligent, and transformative world of fungi.

We are seeking artwork that engages with fungi in symbolic, or imaginative ways. This can include depictions of mushrooms and mycelial networks, as well as works inspired by themes of transformation, symbiosis, unseen worlds, altered states, decay, regeneration, and the intelligence of nature.

Open call to artists residing in the greater Austin area now through July 19th, 2026.

ArtUs Co is heading to the 4th annual Sunday April 19th! 🍄

We’re bringing a curated selection of fungtastic mushroom-inspired artwork to the main lounge, where attendees can explore, connect, and cast their votes in the Mushroom Art Contest throughout the day.

Catch us center stage from 2:20–2:30 PM as we lead the Mushroom Costume Contest, a high-energy, crowd-voted showdown where the audience decides the winners by cheers. Winners will be chosen live on stage, so bring the energy. Contestants get free entry to the conference so dress to impress!

1st Place: $100+ gift basket of mushroom products and merch
2nd Place: Event t-shirt + tote bag
3rd Place: Event t-shirt of choice

Get ready for Birding Man!

A group exhibition honoring the avian world and its many symbolic, ecological, and imaginative meanings. This exhibit celebrates birds as messengers, observers, guardians, and living bridges between the natural and spiritual realms.

Rooted in ArtUs Co’s commitment to visionary, nature-inspired, and consciousness-expanding artwork, Birding Man invites viewers into deeper relationship with the more-than-human world, fostering connection between artists, community, and the living intelligence of nature.

3-6pm - Soft opening with talks by , , bird inspired poetry readings curated by and , and live birds of prey!

***6-7pm - Gallery closed for party set-up (grab a drink or bite to eat from our neighbors in the Arboretum shopping center)

7-11pm - Art party with music by DJ & Bird Inspired Costume contest at 9pm, top 3 costumes win prizes! Complimentary drinks by

ArtUs Co invites artists of all backgrounds to submit work for our first open themed group exhibition of 2026 Here & Now. As a visionary art gallery and collective, we welcome pieces that explore imagination, transformation, nature, and expanded states of awareness. This open call is an opportunity to share your unique voice within a community dedicated to uplifting living artists and celebrating boundary pushing expression. All mediums are welcome. No “AI art” please.
