Texas RE has been named a Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman for the third year in a row and placed in the top five of the small company category (50-149 employees). Additionally, Texas RE’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Albright was recognized with a special award for outstanding leadership.

It reports increased risk of reserve margin deficiencies due to the integration of large loads, decreased risk from extreme winter weather, and a new risk focus area for 2025—artificial intelligence.
