Welcome Center of Austin Multicultural center that welcomes newcomers, supports them in their transition into our community, & creates access and opportunities for self-sufficiency

The Welcome Center is a multicultural center that welcomes newcomers, supports them in their transition into the community, and provides access and opportunities for self-sufficiency. Advocacy and Client Services- We connect clients with necessary community resources to address medical, social, community, legal, financial, educational, employment and other needs. Language Services- Our diverse staff helps with interpretations and translations of documents, emails and phone calls for the client. We work with the school district to provide interpreters for registration and conferences. Our organization facilitates communication between businesses and limited-English speaking clients. Community Building- Our community programs are aimed at fostering diversity, inclusion, and cultural education.

☀️ NEW Daytime Parent Connection Group!

We’re excited to offer another opportunity for parents to connect! Our Parent Connection Daytime Group begins Tuesday, October 13th and will meet every Tuesday from 10:00–10:45 a.m.

Join us for guided discussions, parenting resources, and support in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 💛 No RSVP is needed unless you need childcare.

🌙 Our Wednesday evening Parent Connection group will continue as usual from 5:45–7:15 p.m., including a complimentary family meal, supervised childcare, and family activities.

Whether mornings or evenings work better for your family, we hope you’ll join us and connect with other local parents!

🎃 Halloween Fun is Coming to PRC! 👻

Join us at the end of the month for a family-friendly Halloween Party filled with food, games, crafts, science experiments, and plenty of spooky fun! Come dressed in your favorite costume and join our costume parade at 6:30 p.m. 🧙‍♀️🕷️

Just a reminder that there will be NO Parent Connection tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7.

Our sensory-friendly spooktacular Trunk or Treat in Austin is TONIGHT!

This free, community event welcomes children, families, and community partners for trunk or treating at our Austin Clinic.

🎉 Family Fun Nights Are Coming!

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Monthly Family Fun Nights at the Parenting Resource Center! Bring the whole family for an evening of fun, connection, and quality time together. Each event will feature a family dinner followed by a themed activity. 🍽️💛

🍂 September 30 – Fall Craft Night
🎃 October 28 – Halloween Party
🍿 November 18 – PJ’s, Popcorn & a Movie
🎅 December 19 – Breakfast with Santa, 9–11 a.m.

Family Fun Nights begin at 5:45 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
