For years I’ve been traveling around the country from antique mall, to record store, to thrift store, to mom and pop shops, and sometimes perhaps the last place you would ever expect, digging for records. The albums i seek out are those of under-sung songwriters and musicians of whom you may have not heard of or forgotten about, that i feel deserve their proper praise and preservation. In starting
three Chords and the truth, we’ve set out to tell these musicians tales and
recognize their contribution to the art of songwriting while doing our part to preserve their rightful place in music history. WHAT WE DO:
- Pressing and releasing never-before-heard and out-of-print albums
- Funding documentaries on artists spotlighting their influence not only on songwriting but the impact their music and lives had on the communities and culture in which they lived
We aim to share stories, some new, some old, & some never told.
