Music, mentorship, and lots of smiles! 🎶

Kids In A New Groove recently brought the joy of music to Helping Hand Home with a special workshop for children and youth in our foster and adoptive homes. More than 40 kids participated and had a wonderful time learning, creating, and experiencing music together!

We are so grateful for our partnership with Kids in a New Groove and their commitment to empowering youth through music and mentorship. 🩵🎸

Meet our featured speaker, Aliscia “Cia” Brorman! 🎤

We are honored to welcome Cia as the featured speaker at The 27th Annual Champions for Children Awards Luncheon on October 8.

Aliscia is a keynote speaker, international best-selling author, and co-founder of The Full Circle Movement.

Growing up in foster care, Cia transformed her lived experience into the foundation of a movement that brings together people who rarely find themselves at the same table. Bridging the gap between lived experience and leadership, Cia cultivates relationships that inspire intentional change. Her work has taken her to stages alongside nationally recognized leaders and helping nonprofits raise more than $5 million to strengthen children, families, and communities.

For 18 years, our partnership with the University of Texas Charter School System has helped create meaningful educational opportunities for the children in our care. 🧡📚

Another summer of creativity, collaboration, and impact with GSD&M! 🤝💙 We were thrilled to once again partner with their talented Daze of Summer interns for a pro bono project benefiting Helping Hand Home.

Throughout the summer, the team developed creative assets, strategies, and recommendations to strengthen our brand, communications, and analytics — helping us better share our mission, expand our reach, communicate our impact, and strengthen internal processes. 📈

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Madison Silva! 🌟

Madison serves as a Foster & Adoption Case Manager on our Foster & Adoption team, and her dedication to the children and families she supports is evident in everything she does. She has built incredible trust with our foster and adoptive parents and, most importantly, with the children on her caseload.

Whether she’s offering thoughtful guidance, making time for weekend visits or responding to emergency placements, Madison consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our children and families feel safe, supported, and cared for. 💙

Her compassion, honesty, and commitment to showing up when it matters most does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Madison, for making a positive difference and providing hope and healing every day!

Back to School! 🚌🎒

We are so grateful to our longtime partners, Horizon Bank and David Weekley Homes, for helping organize another successful school supply drive!

David Weekley Homes supported the children in our Residential Treatment Center, while Horizon Bank collected supplies for our foster & adoptive families.

Their continued generosity helps ensure our children and families have what they need to start the new school year feeling prepared, supported, and ready to succeed.
