Travis County Sheriff's Office Brown Santa Non profit organization providing gifts and food to those in need during the holiday season!

BROWN SANTA is a community service program of the Travis County Sheriff's Office, and the many sponsors and volunteers who make it happen each year. www.tcsheriff.org

Brown Santa started in 1981 with a few deputies helping about 25 families in the unincorporated areas of Travis County. The goal for the 2011 season is to help 2150 families to include approximatley 15,000 children

that will have presents to open on Christmas morning. Help us celebrate the joy of Christmas by donating or volunteering, browse our website for more information. You can also call 24-SANTA (247-2682), or email the volunteer coordinator at [email protected].

What a wonderful feeling to wake up knowing that 2,000 families and 8,000 children are experiencing a brighter Christmas because a community came together to give back. We are truly a program for the community, by the community.

We were able to partner with Texas Commission on Law Enforcement yesterday as they sponsored a family. The family came into our warehouse and met with the TCOLE Staff. The reactions of the family were priceless! This is another family who truly needed this assistance. There were tears of joy from the family, TCOLE and Brown Santa staff! 💙🎅🏾🎁🧸❤️
