On Saturday, November 7th, join APF and fellow park lovers for a day of volunteer projects and community building in neighborhood parks around Austin.💚

All projects are led by community members to encourage neighbors to come out, lend a hand and connect with fellow park lovers from all walks of life. This is a day many look forward to all year as we celebrate the people and parks that make Austin special!

Get ready to Party for the Parks!🎶 APF’s annual fundraiser is coming up on Wednesday, October 7 - and there’s still time for you to join in on the fun. Taking place on the ACL Music Festival grounds at Zilker Park, this event is more than just a night of food, fun and live music - it’s a night of community magic. Each year, 1,000 park lovers come together to celebrate, learn about and raise vital funds for our city’s cherished green spaces. This year, you’ll also enjoy a special performance from Cold War Kids!

Every dollar raised at Party for the Parks fuels APF’s mission to make Austin’s parks, trails and green spaces better for ALL Austinites. Grand Meadow Neighborhood Park📍

Austin Parks Foundation along with Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Friends of Grand Meadow Park celebrated the completion of Phase I improvements this morning! This nearly 10-acre undeveloped property in southeast Austin has been transformed into a welcoming neighborhood park with natural surface trails, accessible concrete walkways, a play area, open play fields, and a pavilion equipped with picnic tables and lighting.

Grand Meadow is one example of what APF's Park Design services make possible. Through the program, APF gives Adopt-A-Park groups access to design resources at every scale, from an on-site consultation to full long-range planning, in coordination with APR.
