WE ARE OFFICIALLY 6 WEEKS AWAY! 🚨

The countdown to the 2026 TAAOM Symposium at Moody Gardens is ON!

Join us November 6–8 in Galveston for a weekend of hands-on learning, incredible clinicians, good food, and actual time to connect with our acupuncture community.

On Sunday, September 13, TAAOM members and ACAOM alumni/ students gathered for a Bagel N’ Mingle with the Board (led by President Victor Manuel, Vice President Hui Ouyang, Treasurer Denise Saad,Secretary Adylle Varon), and other board members- Gail Daugherty, Louis Jin, Cathy Liu, Zili Zhong, Sylvia Qiaosha He, Gregory Sparkman, and Diana Lane, who joined remotely, along active committee members like Liz Ross, ahead of the board and general membership meeting at The American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at noon. The meetup brought together board members, local practitioners, and members of the Texas acupuncture community for bagels, tea, and conversation. The founding president of ACAOM - Dr. Liang and Minmay also stopped by to show their long-standing support for TAAOM.

Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, catch up with longtime friends, and welcome new faces. The casual setting encouraged open discussion, with members sharing practice insights, referrals, ideas, and experiences from across the profession.

Events like Bagel N’ Mingle with the TAAOM board reflect the value of TAAOM’s regional gatherings in strengthening professional relationships and building a more connected acupuncture community throughout Texas. Keep an eye out for future opportunities to connect with fellow members at upcoming meetings and local events!
