Our non-profit organization, Travis County Master Gardeners Association, is not a garden club, but a service organization of certified master gardeners - trained volunteers who give their time in the community to help others garden well and joyfully in Central Texas.

We’re coming to this event with a plant clinic and an herb sachet activity!

Join the AARC for Nature and Art Day, a morning of reflection and co-creation, on Saturday, October 24 from 10am to 12pm! We invite you to slow down as you share space in community with the trees, plants, birds, and insects.

Take your time and choose your own adventure from a variety of activities:

🌱 Express your personal story and memories of nature through guided reflections

🌱 Plant a seedling into the AARC Intergenerational Garden

🍂 Create art using leaves and flowers from the AARC Intergenerational Garden and Zen Garden

🫶 Learn from local organizations working in gardens, conservation, and more

Nature and Art Day is part of Austin's Roots and Wings Festival, a community-wide celebration of nature in our city, as well as ACME's Arts and Humanities Month programming.

This event is free and open to the public. Learn more and RSVP 👉 bit.ly/AARCEventbrite
