A familiar resource has a new chapter in Austin!

The Oasis has reopened in Downtown Austin as the SOW Community Resource Hub, providing meals, showers, hygiene services, cooling relief, and connections to housing and support services for people experiencing homelessness. Located near the ARCH, the hub is designed to help meet immediate needs while creating pathways to stability.

Access to basic needs and trusted support can make a meaningful difference in someone's journey home.

On Monday, The Oasis reopened as the SOW Community Resource Hub on East Seventh Street, near the ARCH.

The 2026 HUD NOFO has officially been released! We are currently reviewing the NOFO and developing the local competition process, timeline, and application materials. Additional guidance, training opportunities, and competition documents will be released in the coming weeks.

We encourage all providers to carefully review the FY26 NOFO and begin considering how proposed projects align with both HUD priorities and identified community needs. We also encourage providers and stakeholders to keep an eye on future CoC newsletter updates and the ECHO website for competition materials as they're available.

The Austin/Travis County Continuum of Care (CoC) is now accepting applications for open seats on the Leadership Council. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

System Partner Seat (2)
Healthcare/Disability Seat (1)

The Leadership Council provides governance, oversight, and strategic direction for the homeless response system. Members play a critical role in shaping policies, guiding funding decisions, and supporting system performance across the community. We are seeking individuals who bring relevant expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to improving access to housing and services. Applications are open throughout the month of April.
