A heartfelt thank you to the Rattan Creek Neighborhood Association, the Jollyville Fire Department, and the Veterans from Post 10427 for joining us at the Trail of Honor/Chad’s Bench on Saturday, August 15th, to celebrate Chad’s birthday and learn more about the Trail of Honor.

A very special thank you to Marilyn Griggs, who captured the day through these wonderful photographs. We are so grateful that she took the time to document the memories we made together.

Adding another special thank you to Janhavee for the beautiful, handmade birthday card she made for Chad. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture, and it means so much to us.

To all of our wonderful neighbors who came out, we truly appreciate your support, your kindness, and your interest in learning more about Chad and the Trail of Honor.

We had such a great time sharing stories, memories, and the meaning behind this special place. Your presence meant more to us than you know.

We look forward to seeing everyone again in August 2027!

A heartfelt thank you to Wesley Cross, Wesley's stepdad Alex, Chris Oligschlaeger, Ozzy, and Eric Oligschlaeger for their incredible hard work on Friday, July 24, at the Trail of Honor.

This amazing crew dug out all of the overgrown plants, cut down invasive trees, spread fresh mulch, loaded up the debris, and hauled it all away. It was a long, hot day filled with hard work, but they never slowed down. Even after Eric accidentally disturbed a bee's nest and was stung six times, he stayed the course and finished the job.

A very special thank you also goes to Dennis Minks, our one and only "Keeper of the Bench." Dennis, we hope we made you proud with the transformation. Your dedication and care for this special place have meant so much over the years, and we were honored to continue the work you began.

Thank you all for your time, dedication, and servant hearts. The Trail of Honor looks better than ever because of each of you.

Today, we were honored to receive a check from Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q representing our portion of the funds raised during this year's Camo Cup Campaign.

Because of Rudy's commitment to supporting veterans and the incredible generosity of everyone who participated, 204 hours of PTSD treatment will now be available to veterans in need.

, thank you for continuing to stand with our veteran community and for providing meaningful support to organizations like ours. Your partnership helps make healing possible for those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

On behalf of the veterans we serve and the volunteers of the Cpl. Chad Eric Oligschlaeger Foundation for PTSD, thank you for helping us ensure that no veteran has to fight PTSD alone.
