I’m honored to be speaking at the Scaling Safety Symposium: The Blueprint for a Safer Austin, October 14–15, 2026.

I’m looking forward to spending time with Austin’s community leaders, residents, and partners who are working to keep their neighborhoods safe. I’m grateful for the chance to share my perspective and learn from their experiences.

We’ll talk about what’s working, where more support is needed, and how we can help community organizations get the resources they need to prevent violence and support their neighbors.

SEPTEMBER: SHOWING UP, TOGETHER. 💙💛

September was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community chooses to show up for one another.

From connecting nearly 2,000 neighbors with meals and essential resources, to creating cash-paid work opportunities for approximately 30 unhoused participants, our team continued turning connection into opportunity.

👷🏾 30+ participants engaged in work opportunities
🌱 Community cleanup & environmental protection
🤝🏾 Reentry & professional development
🛡️ Safe Passage & community-based public safety
❤️ Countless partners, volunteers, donors, and neighbors showing up

Join us for our Pop-Up Resource Clinic on October 22, 2026, from 9 AM–1 PM at 1189 Springdale Road, Austin, TX 78721.

5,000 SANDWICHES. ❤️🥪

When community comes together, incredible things happen.
Tango Charities and Hungry Hill Foundation joined forces to prepare 5,000 sandwiches to help feed our city. This wasn’t just about making sandwiches — it was about showing up, serving our neighbors, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

From volunteers to community partners, every hand made a difference.
