2026 TX State 40K Time Trial WP12 Champ! 🎉

It was a tiny field of only 2 in this category but you’ve got to show up to win … and although the 90% humidity sucked the watts right outta my legs over the 2nd half, I can’t be upset with a course PR at 47yo! 😅

Met my goal of a sub hour day with a time of 58:10 🥳

Grateful that my mind remembered how to embrace the special kind of suffering that a 40K TT requires, that my legs gave me what I needed on the day, and that I’m blessed with some of the fastest, most aero equipment available!

From a 300 mile Gravel Adventure Race last weekend to a 40K State Championship TT this weekend! 😅

I haven’t raced a 40K effort in YEARS & have hardly touched my TT bike in the last 18 months or so… what could possibly go wrong?!? 🤪

Likely my last WP1/2 race (gonna transition to masters categories at some point this year), so here’s to going out with a bang 💥!

90% humidity 💦💦 BUT ZERO WIND 🎉! If I pace it well, I think I might be able to eke out a sub hour 40K and that would make me so very happy, regardless of placement.. Even broke out the Holland Racing Bodypaint suit for that aero edge !!!

New Kit Day (& Race announcement!)

Life has been cookoo 🤪 bananas 🍌 lately, and I haven’t had a spare moment to social, but I’m lining up for a 300 mile gravel race tomorrow in my new kit, so I figured I should probably do a post! 😅

knocked the jerseys out of the park - when I unexpectedly found myself without a team and therefore without Kit, my amazing sponsor offered to step up and cover the cost of a small jersey run, and I got to design my own Team Tracy Kit again! This one is super special, featuring my amazing sponsors, who’ve had my back through thick & thin, and also a subtle phoenix/smoke design that’s meant more for me than anyone else - wearing this Jersey reminds me of everything I’ve overcome and how strong and resilient I am, even when I’m going through a darker season of life. It reminds me that with my friends, families, and the people behind these amazing companies in my corner, I can overcome just about anything with enough willpower and 🎶 a little help from my friends 🎶.

I’ll be racing Wicked 😈tomorrow at Spinistry’s “The Distance: A GravelMax Adventure “ with my SRT keeping me comfy, X1 50s mounted on Lancaster wheels to handle the variety of surfaces I’ll be traversing, Ceramitech BB spinning smoothly through the mud, Ride Repel protecting my frame, and my custom 🇺🇸 Gamechanger protecting my head! has had his work cut out for him attempting to prepare me for these long events with a crazy work and travel schedule and very limited availability for training lately, but I’m as ready as I’m gonna be at this point and looking forward to a 300 mile adventure kicking off at 6am tomorrow (Saturday)! Also featured on the sleeves is Vandoit - the world’s BEST adventure van for cyclists! Our VanDOit enables us to support events across the country, and enables me to take a full hotel room with kitchen, bedroom, and bike garage to every race! 🚐

East TX Showdown weekend was truly magical - the event T-shirts (which sold out bf I nabbed one 😭) were spot on!

I’ll post a video race/ride recap in a bit, but here’s the abbreviation version:

I decided about 24 hrs before the race that I wasn’t in the best mental space (or the best fitness level) to line up and spend 24+ hours pushing myself to my physical & mental limits. This is something that I usually jump at the opportunity to do bc I love that special corner of my pain cave and pushing myself to new levels, but in this instance I was much more in need of a therapy weekend with community, nature, bikes, and doggos than I was a suffer session.

With this in mind, I set 3 rules for myself:
1) No self imposed suffering
2) No chasing
3) No photos/videos/screens/storytelling during the race bc I wanted to be present and in the moment, immersed in nature, an not constantly (subconsciously) “looking for content”

I’m so happy to share that I successfully stuck to these self imposed rules, and this weekend was just the mental reset/therapy session that I needed. Did it solve all my “problems”? Of course not. But I came away with a sense of peace and community and contentment that I haven’t felt for a very long time.

And yes, I unexpectedly took🥉 in the Showdown, so that was a nice lil bonus! 😝

I dive much more into the details in my 45 minute video report (which I’ll share in 3 parts), so you’re welcome to watch when that’s uploaded if you’re curious, but I don’t expect all that many people will be up for such an expatiation 😂

Thank you to Patrick, Carol, Ariel, the entire Media Team, the staff & management, and all of the incredible volunteers for making this past weekend such a magical fairytale!

really is a magician with a 3D Printer! Check out this custom light mount he made out of Fibron for my headlight! Weighing in at just 24g, it’s custom printed to fit my preferred bar position, will keep my light out front / prevent shadows, and even has a custom ledge built in to prevent the light from vibrating down! 😍

And yes, those Blip amounts are custom printed too!

(Also a sneak peak 👀 at my new custom Lancaster Wheels from 🔥!)

I’ll be debuting it all at East TX Showdown in just 10 days! 🥳

Another International Women’s Day post bc it only comes once a year and I have so many amazing women in my life!

Listening to the soundtrack that I added to my last post, I couldn’t help but think about the amazing women of 3T / Q+M Cycling 🫶🏻 It’s like the song was literally written about them.

As of last week, I am rather unexpectedly no longer a member of the team, and when I made this very difficult decision, I cried big ugly tears for a few days - not because of silly bike racing, but because these women have become some of my very best friends in the world. We’ve shared successes and struggles on the bike, but even more so off the bike as we’ve navigated COVID, Hurricane Helen, relationship beginnings and endings, weddings and engagements, losing and gaining furry family members, struggling our way through the dumpster fire that was 2025 (& now apparently 2026… 😵‍💫), ups and downs in the bike industry, and so much more. Through all of this we’ve laughed at silly memes together, screamed AAAAHHHHHHH at the top of our lungs together, shed tears together, and ALWAYS, no matter what lifted each other up together.

My ADHD, now Perimenopausal never-shut-up brain (and sometimes mouth 😅) can be A LOT, but these ladies never once made me second guess myself, feel like “too much” or “not enough”, and shockingly I very rarely if ever internalized comments (or lack there of) from this amazing group of women.

My biggest fear when deciding to leave the team was that our friendship dynamics would change or even worse, fade away and eventually be lost. I mean, as they begin to plan team races and events for 2026, of course some of the dynamics will change bc I won’t be included in those plans or conversations BUT they have ALL (every single one of them!) gone out of there way to show me (not just tell me) that I am still an integral part of our friend group & not that easy to get rid if 😂.

Thank you ladies for being there for me through the last week as I’ve dumped more emotional baggage on you than you deserved, and somehow managing to keep the vibes immaculate ✨ Strong Women lift Stong women up when they fall, and I love you all so much for it 🥰

NOT a race report (yet!) 😅

On International Women’s Day this year, I had the privilege of guest riding with ‘s Elite Women’s squad at ‘s Sunday RR!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gone into a race with such a strong group of women and a very specific job to do, and I can’t think of a better way to have spent my 2026 International Women’s day!

The 4 riders on our squad ranged from mid-late 40s to mid 50s, yet we lined up with the younguns full of confidence and ready to help make things 🌶️💥🔥😈!

Helping to animate one of the most dynamic local races I’ve attended, cover moves, and even take 1st wheel in our leadout 🚂 reminded me that age is truly just a number, and when a group of women get together with a well formed plan of action, the world had better watch out! 💅

Here’s to all the other middle aged baddies out there fighting hormones and fatigue, holding families together while working full time, squeezing in what little training they’re able to in the stolen moments, and still shining bright out there! ✨

Double Race Report!

A bit delayed bc I was looking for a Lago photo from a Race Photog but - spoiler alert - if you shotgun the back you’re less likely to be snapped by the Paparazzi! 🙃

Last Weekend, I lined up in the WP123 field at , alongside nearly the entire squad, , and a handful of ATX’s finest racers. I expect Aegis pb LOE to make the race 🌶️ from the whistle, so I got in a solid warmup, and staged well. Unfortunately, I set myself up for failure again by neglecting to check my cleats pre-race (they’d been quite loose and not clipping in quite as well for the last several weeks). When the whistle blew, the Aegis ladies went HARD with attacks & counters working to establish a selective break from go. I, meanwhile, found myself completely unable to clip my left cleat into my pedal … for close to 45 seconds. When I finally got clipped in securely, the peloton was over 1/2 football field up the road, w Aegis still driving the pace. I buti d myself in the best TT Threshold+ effort for a full 1.5 laps before FINALLY connecting w the peloton, matchbook fully used up, and a break established up the road 🥵. LSS, I had nothing left after this unplanned FTP test, and all I could do was hang on for dear life as several local racers tried valiantly to pull the break back. My legs finally called it quits w 2 laps to go and I had just enough left to ride it o it & drag myself across the line, 2 min down on the peloton

On Sunday, I lined up for SRC race w dead legs, not hopeful for much but ready to give it my all. I raced smart positioned well, and made the 20 rider split (in a field of 40+). It became evident about 3/4 thru that it would come down to a bunch sprint … gross 🤮😂.

Fortunately, my teammate DSd me through the sprint timing, and together we secured my 1st SRC Cat2 TOP 10! 🎉

Set myself up for failure pretty well for my season opener at ‘s TX Chainring Massacre but made lemonade out of lemons 🍋, and ended up having a pretty fantastic day on the bike!

1) I took the aero bars off of Turdle 💩🐢late last year & haven’t ridden her in months, so I didn’t realize it till unloading my bike in Dallas … whoopsie!!

2) I swapped my chainring out from a 42T to a 36T for some bikepacking late last year and completely forgot until unloading my bike in Dallas … also forgot that my cassette is worn and won’t shift into the 10T 75% of the time… so I was in for some serious hamster-ing on the flats and descents 😂

3) Carefully prepared my hydration pack w 1,000 cal, 250g of carbs, & 2,000 mg sodium the evening before, and proceeded to leave it in the fridge and not realize it until it was too late to turn back on race morning 😬

I was beating myself up and having a really hard time getting my head into “race mode”, almost deciding to just “ride” one of the shorter courses, but instead I gave myself a stern talking to, got some encouragement from my coach, and decided to control the controllable that remained & make this a really great training race for as long as I could hold onto the group 😁

Once we rolled out, I felt really fantastic (my stomach had been very upset leading up to the start), and I decided to focus on staying top 5-10 wheels in the ~60 person peloton, and shadowing to the beat of my ability (bc no matter how long you’ve been playing the game, you can ALWAYS learn a thing or two from our race savvy 🇺🇸 champ!)

I surprised myself by racing more assertively than is the norm for me, and being pretty dang comfortable doing so! When “the move” went with about 6 riders in it (including Lauren), I simply didn’t have the legs to go with it - nothing to do with my gear - just my legs & lungs 😂.

I settled in with the chase group & continued to focus on positioning, racing assertively, and being as efficient as possible / not wasting energy.

Things were going great until ~ 42ish miles in when we hit a long, gradual descent with a tailwind. Attacks started flying and our group was strung out single file. I was spinning like a hamster on speed but simply couldn't maintain a high enough cadence to hang on, and had to watch as the group rode away.

I tried chasing back on when the road turned up again but no dice, so the final 30ish miles were spent fighting the wind solo but enjoying the warm weather and fresh air.

Bonus: early on we rode by a group of horses galloping (so pretty!), and later raced a couple of high stepping Ostriches for nearly a mile!

Bonus: I got to race with my RIOT teammates Victoria Herring & Kellie Nelson and help Kellie celebrate her strong racing & 2nd place finish afterwards!

Such a fantastic day!
