🏀 Welcome Coach Greg Bowie Jr

A former collegiate point guard, Coach Bowie competed at UTRGV, Northern Colorado, and TAMIU, earning two All-Conference honors in the LSC. He went on to play two professional seasons in the TBL.

He has spent the last two years as a varsity assistant coach at St. Mary’s Hall (San Antonio) and Elgin High School.

Ranked among the top point guards in his class, Coach Bowie is known for his elite leadership, playmaking ability, and high basketball IQ. With extensive experience training athletes from beginners to professionals, he has built a strong reputation for player development.

Coach Bowie is committed to helping the next generation reach their full potential through hard work, attention to detail, and a standard of excellence.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Bowie to the family!

📣TWE x JP Elite will collaborate to build elite 2030 Boys teams for the Jr 3SSB Circuit! Coach Potts will lead the TWE 2030 team this season.

🏀 Welcome Coach Christian Spencer

Coach Spencer brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to our program. A standout 6A athlete from Baker High School (Alabama), he continued his basketball career at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico and with the Sub-24 Carolina Pumas.

He has been part of the TWE coaching family for 7 years, dedicating himself to developing players both on and off the court.

After three years as an assistant at St. Stephen’s Episcopal , Coach Spencer now enters his second year as the Varsity Boys Head Coach.

Coach Spencer leads with purpose, passion, and a commitment to excellence. We’re grateful to have him with us.

A standout high school player from North Crowley (TX), Kevin earned First Team All-State honors and was named USA Today National Player of the Week in 2003. He played collegiately at Cal Berkeley and later at TCU, where he joined the 1,000-point club and earned All-Mountain West honors for three consecutive years. He ranks 2nd all-time in free throws made and 3rd in attempts at TCU.

He graduated with a B.A. in 2007 and earned a Master’s in Education Administration from TCU in 2009.

He went on to play 15 seasons professionally overseas, competing in: Germany, Hungary, Spain, Greece, France, Belgium, Italy, Argentina, Finland, Cyprus, and Switzerland. He participated in EuroCup and FIBA Europe Cup competitions, and was named the Greek League All-Imports Team in 2015.

Coach Kev brings elite player development and top-tier coaching to the TWE program.
