Our Origin and Mission

European Horizons is a global, student-led policy lab that gives young people a voice in shaping the future of Europe and of transatlantic relations.

Our Origin

We founded European Horizons at the European Student Conference at Yale in February 2015, where we gathered 80 students from across the United States to discuss, develop, and implement policy proposals to further European integration. Today, European Horizons has organized its fourth annual European Student Conference at Yale and its second Digital Economy Youth Summit at the College of Europe in Bruges. We publish the academic journal Review of European and Transatlantic Affairs and continue expanding our network of over 60 chapters at universities across the United States and Europe, including at Harvard, University of Chicago, University of Washington (Seattle), Autonomous University of Barcelona, College of Europe, and University of Economics (Prague), among many others.
