November Focus: Men’s Mental Health Matters
This month at Texas Counselors for Social Justice we’re shining a spotlight on men’s mental health — because men often face unique barriers to seeking support, and too many suffer in silence.

✅ It’s okay to not be okay.
✅ It’s brave to reach out.
✅ You are not alone.

If you’re a brother, father, son, colleague or friend — let’s break the stigma together. Speak up. Lean in. Get supported.

Tip of the month: One small check-in with someone you care about can create a big difference. Ask “How are you really doing?” and listen.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As counselors and advocates, Texas Counselors for Social Justice stands with survivors of domestic violence.
We believe in creating spaces of safety, healing, and empowerment.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, help is available.
Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or visit www.thehotline.org
for 24/7 confidential support.

Together, we can break the silence, support survivors, and promote justice through compassion and community care.

Social justice begins in the small moments—when we listen with compassion, speak with courage, and act with care.”

As we continue to uplift our communities during National Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s remember:
✨ Rest is resistance.
✨ Healing is political.
✨ Every voice matters.

Take a moment today to ground yourself.
🧘 Breathe.
📖 Reflect.
📣 Advocate.

🔄 How are you prioritizing your mental health this week?
