Did you know that RRISD has proposed a VATRE (Voter-Approved Tax Election) to be on the Nov. 3rd election ballot and we will all have the opportunity to vote on it?

The VATRE, named Proposition A on the ballot, aims to increase faculty and staff salaries, address the problem of pay compression, and offset inflationary costs.

Attend the CeVMS PTA meeting on Sept. 10th at 7 pm to learn more, ask questions, or offer your feedback!

We all know how it feels when we miss out on something. We don’t want our students to have those feelings, and when they’re not in school, their friends and teachers miss them.

🌟 Here is a great way to ensure your student doesn’t miss the learning: we understand that appointments and other obligations happen, but if there’s a way to plan around them, then everyone benefits. 🌟

Remember to add these dates to your family calendars so you can schedule appointments and plan ahead to coordinate with students' pre-existing days off!

This little step can make a great impact on student learning and connection.

Remember, if you need to take your student out of school, bring back the appropriate documents when they return, especially if they come back the same day!
_____
