Mobile Art Program The Mobile Art Program delivers art activities to seniors and disabled adults living in Austin, Texas.

MAP is not concerned with the finished piece of art; rather, it's about providing people with ways to cope with what is happening in their lives. MAP provides people with ways to cope with what is happening in their lives. Art becomes the vehicle for expression, developing relationships, as well as for integrating experiences that may be difficult to understand. Our goals are to improve the lives

of seniors and disabled adults by giving them an outlet for creative expression. We restore their self-esteem, build friendships where there was none and increase their cognitive skills leading to stabilization in overall health. We concentrate our efforts in low-income areas of the city.

We’re very proud to be a part of this global celebration of giving! This year we are Collective Dreaming for the Future.

✨Our Dream, in 2021, is to continue offering all of our classes, workshops and programs online.

✨In 2020, we created Community Conversations; a new Songwriting series; art classes for Veterans and Older Adults/Seniors, and expanded Open Mic and Speaking Advocates opportunities to develop new, or improve existing, skills.

Tuesday is a designated annual day of giving to non-profit organizations which takes place this year on Tuesday, December 1st. We’re very proud to be a part of this global celebration of giving!
