Make no mistake, 's are great for the city. Anyone else find it curious that we can do a RFP for one tract of land but not for McKalla? Keep McKalla Weird

Didn't Precourt tell us that if we rushed the deal through we would have a team in 2019??? So we gave away land under false pretenses? "While timing for Austin FC is still to be finalized, we are confident that the team will begin play no later than 2021 at the new, privately financed stadium and soccer park at McKalla Place."

After a year of wrangling, it looks like Columbus, Ohio will get to keep its soccer team. But Austin is also in line to land its first major-league sports franchise with Major League Soccer voicing support for Precourt Sports Ventures' efforts in the city. It now becomes a matter of when.
