The September HASPRA meeting was a hit!

Nearly 100 HASPRA members attended the Harris County Department of Education annual “Meet the Press” luncheon. Reporters from FOX 26 Houston, the Texas Tribune and Telemundo Houston shared best practices for pitching stories, communicating with media and navigating coverage during a crisis.

This event also gave district professionals the chance to sit face-to-face with journalists and pitch stories happening in their communities, because the best media relationships are built long before the next story breaks.
