Blackshear Neighborhood Garden

Blackshear Neighborhood Garden Come work in the garden with us! We have work parties in the garden every first Saturday of the month! The garden is the size of an urban city lot.

Blackshear Neighborhood Garden is located at 2011 East 9th Street. It was started on January 30th of 2008 when a license agreement was signed with the City of Austin. It is divided into a section of shared neighborhood rows and another section containing 14 plots. We have several fruit trees, composting by East Side Compost Pedlars, a kids adventure playground, and a plaza for neighbors to gather in. Everyone's welcome!
