This is what real parenting is about.

It sometimes seems like the children of abusers like the abuser more. Often that isn't the case. Often, they know if they don't favor the abuser, they will get harmed or shut out completely. Recognizing the signs can be hard that you are dealing with a narcissist. But once you do, you need to take care of yourself. You are important!

Voices of Tamar help those affected by domestic abuse and sexual assault. We often aren't aware of those around us who are suffering and having these experiences. Let's be supportive. Educating yourselves and others to help prevent any other attacks is the number 1 thing that will help make a change. If you want change you need to be the change. Even reposting, commenting or just telling others will help make a wave.

We would like to reach out to all our local families to help us collect any clothing for our donation drive to help support victims.

This is the perfect time to clean out your closets! Clothing must not have any wear and tear (i.e.: rips, stains, loose threads, missing items, etc.). We will also accept accessories (belts, scarves, etc.), totes, purses/handbags, hats.
