In remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we honor his enduring legacy as a pivotal advocate for equality and justice. Dr. King, a prominent leader of the Civil Rights Movement, championed the cause of racial equality through his unwavering commitment to nonviolent resistance. His eloquent speeches, most notably the iconic "I Have a Dream," inspired millions to envision a world where people are judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Dr. King's tireless efforts brought significant progress in the fight against segregation and discrimination, leaving an indelible mark on American society. His vision of a peaceful and inclusive world continues to inspire new generations to strive for justice and equality for all.

It’s a wrap! CTCBA’s final Lunch & Learn event of 2024 is in the books, and we’re thrilled to have two outstanding panelists share their time and expertise with our membership. A warm thank you to Bob Cartwright and Jerry Day for their time and expertise as Total Rewards Panelists this week. Another thank your to Adrian Solomonides for moderating the event. We were excited to have past presidents and a founding member in our audience as well. There were so many take aways from our SME panelists. Several attendees stopped to share that they were inspired. This is one of CTCBA’s favorite events and it was our largest attended lunch and learn events for 2024. CTCBA has planned the 2025 calendar of lunch & learn events, which are SHRM, HRCI and WatW approved! We look forward to seeing you in 2025!
