Come say hello to our team as we celebrate July 4th at Doya Palooza!

After also experiencing a rain out this spring, Austin Farm Sanctuary is hosting the biggest party they’ve ever had on the 4th of July - and they're offering free vendor space to Texas VegFest 2026 participants!

DoyaPalooza is Austin Farm Sanctuary’s summer event honoring Doya, the first pig they ever rescued. They’re planning a large community day with live music, sanctuary walks, food, vendors, family-friendly activities, a silent auction, and a Watermelon Bash for the rescued residents. They’re expecting 200+ attendees.

We are grateful for everyone's support over the last month, and excited to move forward with our September 12th date!

April Participants: confirm your space for Saturday, September 12th at Fiesta Gardens. Email us to let us know you're in! Amenities and location reserved in April 4th are transferred to September. No additional fees are required from your team!

Over the summer, we are launching a fundraising campaign. Our fundraising goal is an ambitious $25,000. Reaching our goal will ensure we recover non-refundable expenses lost in April, and provide enough financial support for a successful rescheduled event in September. Meeting our goal will also ensure Texas VegFest can return in 2027. Donate today at texasvegfest.com/donate!

We are also working with community members to build momentum for September. One of those members is Austin Farm Sanctuary and their event, DoyaPalooza!

The City of Austin has confirmed our reschedule date! 🎉

Our reschedule date is set for Saturday September 12th, 2026 at Fiesta Gardens between 11am and 6pm.

We are grateful for everyone’s patience and support as we worked through the reschedule process with the city. You can now mark the date on your calendars!

Participants that were signed up for April 4th will automatically be transferred to the September 12th date. For participants unable to attend the September 12th date, your fees will be transferred to our April 3rd, 2027 date.

We look to host fundraising events before September to help cover the non-refundable expenses we paid prior to the April event, and help participants cover their lost expenses.

We also look to work with other events within our communities to help our participants recuperate costs.

If you wanted to participate in April but didn’t get the chance, we’ve opened our sign-up pages for September 12th on our website!

Thank you everyone for your continued patience as we work with the City of Austin on a reschedule date.

Our city representative is working with multiple other departments to vet a new date and rule out any conflicts.

With the vetting process on-going, and May 16th weeks away, we are now looking at September 12th. The city looks to provide an answer either way next week.

If September 12th does not work out with the city, we hope to look at another date in the last quarter of 2026.

In the meantime please continue to support our participants, patron or donate to their business!

Please also consider making a donation to Texas VegFest so we can keep the event free to the public and come back for a 2027 event.

Expenses such as tents, portable toilets, hand-wash stations, insurance policies, city fees, recycling, compost, and venue fees were paid in advance of April 4th and are nonrefundable. These expense have to be paid again for the rescheduled event.

These expenses add up to over $21,000. We hope to raise $25,000 by the reschedule event to help keep the event free to the public.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work with our reschedule date!

We are working with our participants and have narrowed our reschedule date to May 16th or September 12th.

We’ll make a decision this week so stay tuned here and on our socials for the full details!

In the meantime, PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OUR PARTICIPANTS!

TEXAS VEGFEST 2026 - POSTPONED TO LATER DATE IN 2026

We are working on a rain date with the city and our participants!

We hope to have a firm idea of the rain date in the next 10 days.

If you are a 2026 participant and did not receive our rain date communication email or text, please email us to let us know: [email protected].

In the meantime, go through our list of participants and support them BIG. They all worked really hard to provide some amazing products to share with everyone and need the extra love this week!
