The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is conducting the first of a series of Perinatal Bereavement Care Initiative Training Events today in Austin. TETAF/Texas Perinatal Services are proud of Jessica Phillips, perinatal program director, and Dr. Terri Major-Kincade, TETAF Board of Directors member, providing support and expertise to these trainings.

If you have not registered for the training, a limited number of travel scholarships are available through DSHS.

The Texas Collaborative for Healthy Mothers and Babies has a new initiative, Lactation and Safe Sleep Opportunities in Texas (LASSO-TX). It is open to all Texas hospitals with Level I-Level IV neonatal designation. The enrollment deadline is November 15.
