Just in time for the heat of the summer, we have installed a new dog water station next to the restrooms in Kingsbury Commons! Thank you to Tito's Handmade Vodka for supporting this project and thank you to Austin Youth Fitness and The David Phillips Foundation for supporting our work on this as well!

Be sure to keep those pups hydrated on their happy walks through Pease Park!

🌈 In celebration of Pride Month we’re happy to share that Pride Picnic is back! Gather in community on Saturday, June 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for a day of abundant sunshine and joy at Pease Park.

🌼 For the fifth year in a row, Pease Park Conservancy is partnering with and 20+ community partners to bring this celebration to Austin’s first public park!

🎨 Visitors can participate in all-ages craft workshops (like cyanotypes and community coloring), dance to DJ sets by Future Front resident artists, and support over 30 pop-up shops featuring local LGBTQ+ artists, designers, craftspeople, and independent creative small business owners from The Front Market.

☀️ The Conservancy is also excited to host a sing-along led by the UUMC Q***r Quire, a community weaving wall, and information booths featuring organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community. Attendees can also enjoy park features like the Splashpad, Treehouse, Peace in Pease Mosaic, and Natureplay, to name a few. To commemorate the fifth annual Pride Picnic and Pease Park Conservancy’s membership in the , the event will also include a Rainbow Ribbon cutting.

🧺 10AM is the new 10PM, so dust off your picnic blanket, pack a water bottle, and join the fun! This free and family-friendly picnic will take place in Kingsbury Commons at Pease Park (1100 Kingsbury St).

📱 For more information about Pride Picnic, lineups, ways to get involved, and parking, visit the Conservancy’s website: peasepark.org/pride-picnic.
