Am I Invisible Am I Invisible is a performance event about homelessness, written and performed by homeless actors in Austin, Texas. http://invisibleinaustin.com/

Our group, first of its kind in Austin, includes seven creative actors and one director. We use theater to transform personal experiences of homelessness into performance materials. We aspire to bring to our audience an unmediated story of homelessness, told by those who are experiencing it. We believe that theater is a powerful tool to promote civic dialogue and social change both in the homeless

and non-homeless communities of the city of Austin. We aim to premiere in April 2014 in downtown Austin.
