Austin CROP Hunger Walk Camp Mabry here we come! We are gathering at Mabry on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. We'll be having a Hybrid Event in 2023!

You can walk in-person at Camp Mabry on March 26- or whenever/wherever you'd like. Either way- TOGETHER we raise funds to help end hunger in Austin and globally. We educate ourselves about global hunger and local hunger. We advocate for those who are on the margins. The first step is to register; create or join a team; give and encourage others to give.

Today is International Day of the Girl, and we’re honoring the day by giving girls and women a crucial but often overlooked tool to thrive: menstrual care. A lack of menstrual care products robs girls of dignity, threatens their health and even keeps them out of school.

You can help give girls around the world the chance at brighter, healthier futures 💛

Global displacement is rising, and access to safety is not keeping pace.

Today, more than 117 million people have been forced to flee their homes, a number that has nearly tripled in just two decades. Yet at the same time, less than 1% of refugees will ever be resettled to a new country.

That means millions of families are stuck in limbo, waiting years for the chance to rebuild their lives in safety.

Behind every statistic is a person with hopes, skills and a future to offer. The gap between those forced to flee and those able to find refuge is growing—and so is the need for action.

Learn the facts and how you can help close that gap.

In Tanzania, Sabina was raising five children alone while facing financial hardship, emotional strain and uncertainty about the future.

Then she joined CWS’s Sustainable Vegetable Farming Project, and everything began to change.

Through training, mentorship and support from her peers, Sabina grew into a confident Lead Farmer, co-leading 36 group members and helping others learn vegetable production, nutrition, gender equality and environmental conservation.

Her story is a powerful reminder: when women are given opportunity and support, they can transform not only their own lives, but their communities too.
